History

TAF produces the Americana Arts & Music Festival where we showcase all of our great arts programs and projects as well as the talents and creations of many fine local and regional artists. The popular American Fork History and Heritage Pageant returned in 2017 after a 5 year hiatus. We also produce the annual Mary Kawakami Youth Speech Contest for 7th – 12th grade students.

TAF oversees seven active arts programs which include: Timpanogos Youth Choirs, Timpanogos Community Theater, American Fork Symphony, Timpanogos Singers, Vivace Youth Orchestras, Timpanogos Visual Arts, and Timpanogos Youth Theater.

Timpanogos Arts Foundation (TAF) was founded in 2003 to support American Fork City’s growing Arts Council. In 2012, all the city’s arts programs were turned over to TAF.

Timpanogos Arts Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization with the mission to:

“Educate, enrich, and inspire by providing leadership and encouragement for artistic and cultural  excellence, which enhances the quality of life for the people of American Fork and neighboring communities.”

TAF is a proud supporter of American Fork City’s Steel Days celebration by presenting the Kick-off Concert (American Fork Symphony), the Art Show (Timpanogos Visual Arts) and the new American Fork’s Got Talent! Talent Showcase.

Timpanogos Arts Foundation is supported and funded by: the City of American Fork (through the local PARC Tax grant), federal, state (through Utah Division of Arts & Museums), and private grants, major sponsors, business and individual donors, and, of course, our valued patrons – like you!
